‘SILENT’ WATER HEATERS
“BROWN” ‘SILENT’ WATER HEATER STEAM OPERATED
A simple, robust, long lasting unit which allows the rapid heating of water in open tanks by steam, without the noise which is prevalent when steam is ejected direct into cold water.
The steam is directed through the body of the water and there is little loss through condensation of the steam.
The “Brown” ‘Silent” Water Heaters have no couplings or parts to come loose. They are particularly free of maintenance and are of one piece construction in Bronze or Stainless Steel.
USES:
For open tank heating of water by steam in Creameries, Dairies, Chemical Plants, Breweries and general process operations.
INSTALLATION:
Steam supply pipe must be at least as large as heater steam inlet. A 10″ or 12″ length of pipe must be screwed into the discharge end (large end) of the heater. The heater must be well submerged below the level of the liquid being heated and the discharge nipple pointer to the remote part of the tank to permit thorough mixing before the liquid is returned for circulation.
